What is a birthday ?
a day that comes once a year
a day when you get kisses from loved ones,
a day with so many short messages,
wall messages on Facebooks,
many twits on twitter,
pictured emails,
phone calls,
all with wishes, pray and cheering words

But what is a birthday ?
It’s a day that reminds you
on the very first day you took your first breath
that you yelled your first scream
becoz you’re afraid of your new world

Now, what is a birthday ?
It’s a day when you have to realize
that you’re growing old one more year
that you’ve enjoyed another full year
that you should thank Him
for all He gave all through the year,
and thank all your friends for their warmth & truly wishes for you

Thank you Lord, for this is my birthday
Thank you for letting me experience one more birthday

Thank you friends & relatives
for showing your care & empathy
I’m so glad to have you all
